The Critics Choice Awards - Leslie Jordana & Ray Liotta

The 28th annual Critics Choice Awards present awards to Leslie Jordan and Ray Liotta.
The awards ceremony has traditionally served as frontrunner for Oscar nominations. So, on Tuesday, they announced their high-profile contenders for the long-awaited TV category. In addition, they included the late actors.
Jordan died in a car accident in October and Liotta died in May. The former snagged a place in Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series category. This comes from his performance as Phil in the Fox sitcom Call Me Kat.
The latter, meanwhile, earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie. This is in honor of his role as Big Jim Keene in Black Bird, an AppleTV+ drama.
Liotta and Jordan will compete against actors such as James Marsden, Tyler James-William, Domhnall Gleeson, Matthew Goode and Henry Winkler in each category.
In summary, Abbott Elementary topped the award list with six nominations. Better Call Saul follows closely with five-category nominations. Additionally, Gaslit, Reservation Dogs and The Good Fight were each nominated in his four categories.
